Nice Post Chris, I love the references to Enron and your garbage handlers.

It can also be noted that with the advancements of free blogging platforms (WordPress, Blogger, TumblR) anyone who can type on a computer can easily start a creative journal.

Out of the millions of existing blogs, only a few hundred are really worth reading, but amateurs probably enjoy expressing themselves as much, if not more, than professionals.

So it needs to be mentioned that technology has played an intense role in democratizing creative outlets. Anyone can "make" a website! Sometimes to the detriment of professionals who more often than not need to justify that quality comes with a price, and that creativity needs to be channelled with technical and artistic know-how.

Exciting times indeed, thank you for this great article.
